Looking at opposite words is typically a child’s first look into antonyms and how to identify them. They might not realize it at the time, but this will be a pivotal skill for their growth in reading and understanding words. If kindergarteners are just learning the skill of opposites, then better keep the opposites simple to ensure they can read and understand the words themselves. The pictorial format you provided here is very helpful to make little kids understand easily and especially if English is not their first language or mother tongue. It would be more beneficial if we talk with them using simple sentences with words and antonyms together. Thanks for sharing such a beneficial post.
